Overview
DanceEast Springboard Adults classes, are for adults with additional needs. The Dance Artists leading the classes have extensive experience teaching dance to adults with learning and physical difficulties. This class will help and support participants to adapt to different situations and it assists with their social, creative and physical development. Engaging props, themes and stimuli are used to create movement. Participants will begin to explore some choreography and how to put moves together to create routines or pieces that can be expressive, narrative, emotional or purely physical.

We welcome beginners and new members to the activity. There is no fee for the first term (Autumn) and a small fee for participants to take part in Term 2 and 3 (Spring and Summer).
Once a participant has booked, they will be sent a confirmation email which includes welcome package and further information prior to attending their first session.

Participants should wear clothing which is comfortable and they are able to move around in.
Accessibility Information:
DanceEast is accessible to individuals with physical impairments or in a wheelchair. There is step free access into the building, and there are disabled toilets and changing facilities available. Outside of DanceEast, there is a layby with a few spaces for blue badge holders and other local car parks within a short distance. All activity usually takes place in the dance studio on the ground floor.
