Newsletter- It was lucky 13 for Suffolk powerlifter Nathaniel Wilding at a recent Disability Sport Showcase Day when he became the 13th up and coming athlete to receive a grant from the Suffolk SportsAid Foundation.
- Britain's Paralympic and aspiring Paralympic athletes won a total of 21 golds, eight silvers and eight bronze medals over five days of sport at the Paralympic World Cup in Manchester last week.
- According to a recent survey, 93 per cent of the UK public see Paralympic athletes as good role models for young people. 69 per cent of those polled say that there should be more media coverage of Paralympic sport.
- National children’s mobility charity Whizz-Kidz and Tower Hamlets NHS Primary Care Trust have been awarded the prestigious Dignity in Care Award for their ‘Making Mobility Happen’ partnership supporting young wheelchair users’ independence in the London borough.

Interview
Sascha won silver (100m breaststroke) on his Paralympic Games debut in Atlanta in 1996, having already won bronze at the 94 world championships in Malta. In Sydney 2000 Sascha won four medals.
