Overview
The Rowing Club offers Rowing and Gym training facilities for Disabled athletes and currently has in its membership adaptive rowers (missing a limb), blind, deaf, learning difficulties and adults recovering from illness e.g. stroke.
Join our club to enjoy rowing out on the water and/or specialised training in the gym. We have Gym equipment which will be specifically geared to assist disabled athletes, e.g. a Concept 2 Skierg can be used by those who are not able to use conventional rowing machines as they have legs or other limbs missing. A skierg builds up upper body muscle and endurance.
