Overview

We are National Governing Body – British Judo Association (BJA) accredited club, who take children from the age of 5 years of age, teaching children FUNdamental skills and core principles of Judo.
Croxteth Judo Club was created from engagement with the Premier League 4 Sport program working in conjunction with Everton FC in 2012.

We have average 30 children who regularly attend ranging from 3 years of age to 14 years of age.

Beginners session is their first introduction to judo and the learning of key characteristics of physical literacy – Agility, Balance and Coordination along with having FUN in a challenging and practical way.

Intermediate session applies the same Fundamentals as the beginners session with the progression of additional technical and physical tasks. New beginners are always welcome and will develop at their learning ability.

Every Wednesday
5pm to 6pm: Beginners. 3+ Years
6pm to 7pm Intermediate. 8+ Years

We close for school holidays
Children from 5 years onwards - Everyone welcome.

All our coaches are National Governing Body qualified – UKCC Accredited , DBS checked and hold First Aid and Safeguarding & Protecting Children certificates which are a requirement to have current British Judo Coaching Licenses.

Visitors and new starters are always welcome. We cater for all levels ranging from 5years +, recreational judo, special needs judo, development – competition judo.

If you would like to try the Olympic Sport of Judo, you just need to come in a t-shirt and tracksuit bottoms and we will lend you a judo jacket and belt.

First session for beginners are FREE, just bring a bottle of water with you….. £3.50 thereafter

1H sessions between 17:00 and 18:00 every Wednesday
