Overview

These classes are designed with you in mind. Online yoga creates a space where I guide you through a sequence that's rich with options and you get to decide what you do. It's from the comfort of your home and cameras are completely optional throughout the whole experience. This allows you to wear what makes you feel comfortable, find the right space for you and use all those home comforts we have to elevate the experience. My mixed ability classes are designed to strengthen the body, experience breathing techniques and a mind-body-breath connection. We move through our sequence and typically we will use a fundamental movement in a variety of different poses ranging from simple warm-ups to challenging balances. Some weeks we focus on ease and effortlessness whilst other weeks we focus on challenge and stamina. Our class concludes with relaxation to rest and restore. Are these classes beginner friendly? Yes, they are. I like to describe it as my mixed ability classes are great for those who are happy to go with the flow and give something a try. I talk you into all of the poses and we typically stay there for a couple of breaths to give everyone time to get into it and pause before we move on. What's the standard format of a class with Sam? • Settle by sitting/laying • Laying on your back • Seated poses • Poses on your hands and knees • Laying on your front • Standing poses • Relaxation This is my rough template for approaching a class.
