About Transplant Sport

Transplant Sport UK (TSUK) is a registered Charity whose main aim is to raise awareness of the need for organ donation in the UK and worldwide.

Through organising sports and social events for adult and child transplant recipients TSUK shows the benefits of organ donation and proves that you can lead a normal and active life again after transplantation.

The vast majority of TSUK members live lives to the full, taking part in a range of sports and activities, some at international level at the World Transplant Games, the European Heart and Lung Transplant Games, The Winter World Transplant Games, the European Transplant and Dialysis Games (which is run by ETDSF of which TSUK is a member), together with more mainstream events such as the London Marathon, Great North Run and the London Triathlon.There are a small number of members who do suffer from a range of disabilities and many who learn to live with the side effects of the powerful ant-rejection drugs they have to take for life.
