The English Volleyball Association (EVA) is the recognised National Governing Body for Volleyball in all its forms, including Beach Volleyball and Sitting Volleyball in England. The EVA is responsible for the development and promotion of Volleyball in England.

The predecessor to the EVA was the Amateur Volleyball Association of Great Britain and Northern Ireland (AVA), formed in 1955. The AVA was disbanded in 1968 to make way for separate English, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Ireland Volleyball Associations. Contact on a United Kingdom basis has been maintained through the British Volleyball Federation (BVF) which is the body responsible for GB teams leading up to the 2012 Olympics.
