Special Olympics Bournemouth & District caters for people with learning disabilities in five sports - athletics, badminton, football, tables tennis and powerlifting (for strength and conditioning). The athletics group also has people with physical and sensory impairments and is affiliated to Bournemouth AC.

Athletics takes place on Sunday mornings.

Caters for any disability although predominantly for people with learning difficulties.
