In Putney recently, two gold-medal winning Olympians – paralympian single sculler Helene Raynsford and sprinter Darren Campbell – spent a morning guiding school children from a deprived part of Slough through the intricacies of the sport of rowing in their roles as volunteers for the Living for Sport programme.

The United States Association of Blind Athletes is excited to announce that the 2009 International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) World Youth and Student Championships and the 2009 IBSA Pan-American Games will be held in Colorado Springs, Colorado, from July 15th to 20th 2009.
