On Sunday 4 July Ice Sledge Hockey is coming to Guildford Spectrum Ice, giving members of the public the chance to experience one of the fastest, most exciting team sports in the world. Between 5pm and 7:15pm anyone can come along, get strapped to a sledge and experience the exciting sport of Sledge Hockey for free.

The face of the Beijing Games, double Paralympic gold medallist Ellie Simmonds has launched a search to find retired Paralympians and encourage them to sign up to the Paralympians’ Club, a new website designed to reunite former GB teammates and engage the public with British Paralympians.

Paralympic gold medallists Sarah Storey, Jody Cundy and Barney Storey will join approximately 600 other cyclists including Olympic gold medallists James Cracknell and Rebecca Romero as they start their 1,000 mile, nine day journey, from John O’Groats to Land’s End today on the inaugural Deloitte Ride Across Britain.
