7th November 08Our National Housing Programme continues to grow, and last week we were delighted to open the latest addition to the scheme - a new, three bedroom bungalow in Wakefield. Local MP, and Secretary of State for Children, Schools and Families, Ed Balls, attended to see for himself the work that we are doing and to meet the first tenant, Martin.

6th November 08Chesterfield College Fitness Suite demonstrated the importance of physical activity for mental well-being during the first annual England-wide mass participation event Get Moving Week. This national event aimed to bring people with direct experience of mental health problems together with those without these experiences to build awareness, challenge attitudes and tackle discrimination.

4th November 08Stefan Olsson of Sweden, Britain’s Lucy Shuker and Johan Andersson of Sweden won the men’s main draw singles, women’s singles and quad singles finals respectively as the 14th Nottingham Indoor Wheelchair Tennis Tournament, part of the NEC Wheelchair Tennis Tour, drew to a fascinating conclusion on Sunday at the City of Nottingham Tennis Centre.
